Webflow Pricing Explained (2026): Site Plans, Workspace Plans + What an Agency Build Costs

TABLE OF CONTENT
October 14, 2026

Last updated: October 2026. Prices in USD, before tax.

Webflow costs $0 to $39 a month for most websites. A site with no blog runs on Basic at $15 a month. A site with a blog or any CMS content runs on Premium at $25 a month. Both prices assume yearly billing; paying month to month costs $25 and $39.

That's the hosting bill. Your real total depends on two more things: whether your team needs a paid Workspace plan to work together in Webflow, and who builds the site. This guide covers all three, with real monthly totals for common setups. Still choosing a platform? See our Webflow vs WordPress comparison first.

Quick answer: Webflow pricing in 2026

  • Starter: free, on a webflow.io address
  • Basic: $15/mo yearly ($25 monthly). Custom domain, no CMS.
  • Premium: $25/mo yearly ($39 monthly). CMS, blog, 20,000 CMS items.
  • Ecommerce: from $29/mo yearly
  • Workspace plans: free, or $16–$49/mo for teams, freelancers and agencies
  • Agency build: roughly $3,000–$18,000 for a custom business site

One big change to know before you read any older guide: in May 2026 Webflow replaced its CMS and Business plans with a single Premium plan. If a guide mentions a "CMS plan" at $23, it's out of date.

Site plans vs Workspace plans: what's the difference?

Webflow sells two kinds of plan, and most confusion about Webflow pricing comes from mixing them up.

  • A Site plan pays for one live website. It covers hosting, your custom domain, the CMS and limits like pages and bandwidth. You pay one Site plan per published site.
  • A Workspace plan pays for the people building sites. It covers seats, staging sites, collaboration tools and AI credits. It does not publish anything to a custom domain on its own.

Every account starts with a free Starter Workspace. If you're one person running your own site, you often need only a Site plan. Teams, freelancers and agencies add a Workspace plan on top.

A simple rule: if you're asking "how much to host my website", look at Site plans. If you're asking "how much for my team to work in Webflow", look at Workspace plans.

Webflow Site plans (2026)

For almost every business website, the choice is between Basic and Premium. Pick Basic if the site has no blog or collections; pick Premium the moment it does.

Plan Billed yearly Billed monthly Static pages CMS items Bandwidth Best for
Starter Free Free 2 50 1 GB Learning Webflow, testing on a webflow.io address
Basic $15/mo $25/mo 300 None 10 GB Brochure and landing-page sites with no blog
Premium $25/mo $39/mo 300 20,000 (40 Collections) 50 GB, scalable to 2.5 TB Blogs, case studies, B2B and SaaS marketing sites
Team $2,500/mo Annual contract only 500 20,000 (100 Collections) Up to 30 TB/yr Larger marketing teams that need Localize, publishing workflows and priority support bundled
Enterprise Custom Custom Custom Custom Custom Large organizations needing SSO, custom roles and SLAs

What each paid plan adds, in short:

  • Basic gives you a custom domain, unlimited form submissions, password protection and 301 redirects. There's no CMS, so no blog.
  • Premium adds the CMS, site search, form file uploads, code components, scheduled publishing and RSS feeds. Bandwidth starts at 50 GB and can be raised as traffic grows. If your content needs careful structure, see our Webflow CMS development service.
  • Team is new in 2026. It bundles the site, a Workspace, 5 full seats, 5 limited seats, two Localize locales and 100,000 AI credits a year.

What changed in May 2026

On May 13, 2026, Webflow merged its old CMS plan ($23/mo yearly) and Business plan ($39/mo yearly) into Premium at $25/mo. Basic also went from $14 to $15. Existing CMS and Business sites move to Premium at renewal.

  • If you were on CMS: you pay $2 a month more, but get 20,000 CMS items instead of 2,000.
  • If you were on Business: you pay $14 a month less for the same limits.

Webflow says hosting runs on Cloudflare's global CDN on every paid plan, so speed doesn't depend on which plan you pick. Bandwidth and CMS limits do.

Webflow Ecommerce plans

If you sell products, you need an Ecommerce plan instead of Basic or Premium. Each one includes the CMS, so you don't pay for both.

Plan Billed yearly Products Transaction fee Staff accounts
Standard $29/mo 500 2% 3
Plus $74/mo 5,000 0% 10
Advanced $212/mo 15,000 0% 15

The transaction fee is on top of Stripe or PayPal processing fees. On Standard, that 2% adds up quickly: once a store sells more than about $2,250 a month, the fee costs more than the $45 jump to Plus.

Webflow Ecommerce suits brands with a small, design-led catalog. For large catalogs, complex shipping or many apps, Shopify is usually the better fit, and we'll say so if that's your situation. You can also combine Webflow with Shopify: Webflow for the marketing site, Shopify for checkout.

Webflow Workspace plans and seats

Workspace plans come in two families: one for in-house teams, one for freelancers and agencies building for clients. Every plan includes one full seat for the owner.

Plan For Billed yearly Billed monthly Staging sites Key extras
Starter Everyone Free Free 2 1 full seat, 200 AI credits/mo
Core In-house teams $19/mo $28/mo 10 Custom code, code export, Shared Libraries
Growth In-house teams $49/mo $60/mo Unlimited Site-level roles, publishing permissions
Freelancer Freelancers $16/mo $24/mo 10 Guest access to client Workspaces, client payments
Agency Agencies $35/mo $42/mo Unlimited 3 free client seats per site, unlimited Shared Libraries

Extra seats are where team costs grow. Billed yearly:

  • Full seat: $39/mo. Designs pages and manages settings.
  • Limited seat: $15/mo. Edits content and builds pages from approved components.
  • Free seat: $0. Reviews and comments only.

Do you need a paid Workspace? If a Webflow agency builds your site and you only update blog posts, usually not. Your agency works from its own Workspace, and you edit content through a client seat. You pay for a Workspace when your own team designs in Webflow, needs more than two staging sites, or wants roles and publishing permissions.

Webflow add-ons

Add-ons are optional and priced by usage. Most small sites need none of them; growing marketing sites usually add one or two.

Add-on Starting price (yearly billing) What it does Who needs it
Analyze $9/mo (2,000 sessions) Built-in traffic and click analytics, plus AI-visibility insights Teams who want simple analytics without setting up GA4
Localize Essential $9/mo (1 locale, 10,000 words) AI translation, localized CMS and SEO, up to 3 locales Sites in 2–4 languages
Localize Advanced $29/mo (1 locale, 50,000 words) Up to 10 locales, localized URLs and images, automatic visitor routing Serious multilingual sites
Optimize $299/mo (25,000 page views) A/B testing, personalization and AI-driven variations High-traffic sites running conversion tests
Extra bandwidth (Premium) +$20/mo per 50 GB Raises the Premium bandwidth limit Sites with heavy traffic or large media
AI credits $20/mo for 2,000 credits More Webflow AI usage across a Workspace Teams generating lots of content or sections with AI

You can preview Localize for free on any plan and only pay when you publish a translated locale. Our guide to Webflow Localization covers how it works in practice.

What you'll actually pay: real monthly totals

The sticker price is rarely the whole bill. Here's what common setups cost per month on yearly billing, before tax and domain fees.

Setup What you buy Per month Per year
Small business site, no blog Basic + free Starter Workspace $15 $180
Business site with a blog, owner edits content Premium + free Starter Workspace $25 $300
Bilingual site (English + one more language) Premium + Localize Essential $34 $408
In-house team: 1 designer + 2 content editors Premium + Core Workspace + 2 Limited seats $74 $888
Online store, growing past $2,250/mo in sales Ecommerce Plus $74 $888
Agency site built for you, you edit the blog Premium (agency builds in its own Workspace) $25 $300

Two things to budget for separately: your domain name (usually $10–$20 a year from any registrar) and any third-party tools, such as a cookie consent app, form tools or Finsweet attributes.

Yearly vs monthly billing: paying yearly saves 36–40% on Site plans. Monthly billing makes sense only while you're still building or testing; switch to yearly at launch.

What an agency Webflow build costs

A custom Webflow website built by a freelancer or agency typically costs $1,500 to $18,000. Enterprise sites with complex integrations can pass $50,000. The Webflow plan is a small line next to the build itself.

Project Typical Scope Typical Cost (USD) Typical Timeline
Simple Site or MVP 3–5 pages, light customization, contact form $800–$2,000 1–3 weeks
Custom Marketing Site 5–10 custom-designed pages, blog, basic SEO setup $1,000–$5,000 3–6 weeks
Content-Rich B2B or SaaS Site 10–25 pages, several CMS collections, integrations, interactions $1,500–$5,000 6–10 weeks
Migration to Webflow Moving from WordPress, Wix, or Framer, including content, URLs, and 301 redirects Depends on page and post count 2–8 weeks
Enterprise Multilingual, custom code, member areas, APIs, governance Depends on website complexity 3 months+

These are market ranges from published 2026 agency pricing guides. Who you hire moves the price more than anything else: experienced US and UK freelancers charge around $400–$900 a day, and boutique agencies $600–$1,200 a day across the team.

What drives the cost up or down

  • Design: a custom design from scratch costs more than adapting a template or building from your Figma file.
  • CMS structure: each collection (blog, case studies, team, locations) needs its own template and fields.
  • Integrations: HubSpot, CRMs, Memberstack, booking tools and custom code all add time.
  • Interactions: scroll animations and GSAP timelines take careful work to stay fast.
  • Migration size: hundreds of blog posts need importing, cleaning and redirecting. See how we migrate to Webflow without losing rankings.
  • SEO and launch work: redirect maps, schema, sitemap and Search Console setup protect rankings you already have.

How to keep Webflow costs down

  1. Pay yearly once the site is live. It's the single biggest saving on any plan.
  2. Start on Basic if you don't need a blog yet. You can upgrade to Premium the day you add one.
  3. Use free and Limited seats. Reviewers need only free seats; content editors need $15 Limited seats, not $39 Full ones.
  4. Let your agency host the build in its own Workspace. You then pay only the Site plan, and take a client seat for editing.
  5. Skip add-ons until you need them. GA4 is free and covers most analytics needs. Optimize only pays off on high-traffic pages.
  6. Plan your CMS before you build. A clear collection structure avoids paid rebuilds when you hit limits or add content types later.
  7. Get a fixed quote with a clear scope. Most budget overruns come from "small" extras added halfway through a build.

Webflow pricing FAQ

How much is Webflow per month?

Webflow costs $15 a month for Basic and $25 a month for Premium, billed yearly. Paid month to month, they cost $25 and $39. Ecommerce plans start at $29 a month billed yearly.

Is Webflow free?

Yes, you can build on the free Starter plan for as long as you like. It's limited to 2 pages and a webflow.io address. To use your own domain, you need a paid Site plan.

What happened to the Webflow CMS and Business plans?

Webflow replaced both with the Premium plan in May 2026. Premium costs $25 a month billed yearly and includes 20,000 CMS items and 40 collections.

Do I need a Site plan and a Workspace plan?

You always need a Site plan to publish on your own domain. You need a paid Workspace plan only if your team designs in Webflow together, needs more staging sites, or wants roles and permissions.

Can I cancel Webflow anytime?

You can cancel, but you keep paying until the end of the term you signed up for. That's why monthly billing is the safer choice while you're testing.

Yes, with a paid Workspace plan you can export the HTML and CSS. CMS content exports separately as CSV, and forms stop working off Webflow. You can't re-import exported code.

How much does it cost to hire someone to build a Webflow site?

Most custom business sites cost $3,000 to $18,000, depending on page count, CMS structure and integrations. Simple sites can cost $1,500 to $4,000. Already on Webflow and unsure what needs fixing? Start with a free Webflow audit.
